The mood of the DoDo collection that we were asked to recount is characterised by five themes: luck, night, freedom, escape and the sea. The subject inspired us to use paper as a narrative element of a formal elegance that turns simplicity into the brand’s expressive code. A seemingly simple material, which we gave new value through the papercut technique. Lightness and preciousness. Simplicity and sophistication. These are the elements that we identified for the development of the set: an osmotic transposition of meaning from the paper to the jewellery, and from jewellery to the paper, in a series of almost tactile references.
